the_water_side, the gallery's new occasional publication, responds to our exhibition programme with newly commissioned essays and artists’ projects printed alongside writing that inspired or is inspired by our work.

issue #02, published in February 2013, accompanies waterside's presentations at Art Rotterdam and ARCO Madrid. Félix Sauzo writes on the work of Daniel Medina, and Pierre d'Alancaisez spends an afternoon by the sea with Heide Hinrichs. A contribution from Standart Thinking (Javier Rodriguez and Lose Hovesen) tells the future for those born under the start sign of Aquarius. Hidden within the publication is newly-commissioned poem by Melanie Noel.
